The following is taken directly from the Rosetown RCMP Report for December 1st-8th, 2016.

2016 Dec 02 at 23:20hrs: Members of the Rosetown Detachment received a complaint of an assault that occurred at a Rosetown residence. A 22 year old Rosetown man has been charged with assault, and makes his next court appearance in Rosetown on January 10.

2016 Dec 03 at 18:20hrs: Members of the Rosetown Detachment attended the scene of a single vehicle motor vehicle accident roll over that occurred on Hwy 44, near Wartime. No injuries, however the vehicle had to be towed.

2016 Dec 06 at 11 :OOhrs: Member of the Rosetown Detachment received a complaint of a theft of vehicle from Rosetown. The vehicle was recovered the following day, in Saskatoon, by Saskatoon Police Service. Police would like to remind vehicle owners not to lend their vehicles to casual acquaintances.

2016 Dec 06 at 15:00hrs: Members of the Rosetown Detachment received a call of a single vehicle roll over on Grid 656, between Herschel & Fiske. A south bound vehicle hit loose gravel, the driver over corrected, and the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled . Neither the driver nor his passenger were injured. The vehicle had to be towed .

2016 Dec 7 at 18:00hrs: Members of the Rosetown Detachment received a complaint of an MVA involving a moose on Hwy 7 near Harris, SK. It appears a pickup truck clipped the moose, causing the moose to fall onto the traveled portion of the highway. Before the driver of the first vehicle could get stopped, the moose was hit by a second westbound vehicle. The second vehicle, an SUV, hit the moose and came to rest in the north ditch. The diver of the pickup truck was not injured, however the driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries. 

During the past week: Members of the Rosetown Detachment dealt with 4 false alarm calls, and 2 erratic driving calls.

Rosetown Detachment & Traffic Services Members issued 62 traffic tickets and conducted 2 check stops during the past week.
