Update: 5:15 am January 21

Roads have improved in the west central region as the clipper system which caused high wind yesterday and Tuesday, has now passed through the area. Plows have been seen going on Highway 21 south of Kindersley as early as 5 am this morning.

The wind is causing blowing snow, and low visibility in parts of west central this Wednesday evening. There have been reports of a semi in the ditch just west of Tessier on Highway 7 where part of it is blocking the eastbound lane as of 6:30.

There have also been reports of the road being blocked, and massive snowdrifts between Wilkie and Unity on Highway 14 due to the high wind and low visibility at nightfall. Also, a complete whiteout in the Landis area on Highway 14 has been reported.
