The Saskatchewan Health Authority has alerted Central Plains Co-op that a customer that tested positive for COVID-19 was at the Rosetown Home Centre on September 18th.

"Health officials are advising individuals who were at this location on the specified date during the specified time to immediately self-isolate if they have had or have symptoms of COVID-19," a statement from Central-Plains Co-Operative says.

At this time the Saskatchewan Health Authority has not issued an alert directly. Often times, businesses are made aware of potential exposure ahead of the alert, and in some instances the matter is deemed to not require an alert directly from the health authority.

Central Plains Co-operative did confirm that the positive case was not a member of the staff.

"The health and safety of our team members an our guests is a top priority," Central Plains' statement reads. "Our response to the pandemic includes diligent sanitation practices, physical barriers, and social distancing in our locations."

Central Plains Co-operative issued the statement around 6:00pm on Thursday, September 24th.

Shortly after the Central Plains Co-operative publicly revealed the alert it received, Shop Easy Food Rosetown revealed that it also received an alert that a guest had visited the location, that later tested positive for COVID-19.

If you were at the Shop Easy Food in Rosetown on September 15,16,17 you're advised to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and take all necessary precautions.
