A new season of Sask West Hockey League play will begin Friday night in Wilkie at the SaskCan Community Centre. The defending champion Outlaws will take on the Hafford Hawks at 8:30 PM to get the 2023-2024 season underway.

Following Friday night's game, Hafford will travel further south to Kindersley on Saturday to face off against the Sr. Klippers. That game is set for 7:30 from the West Central Events Centre.

The league will be back with a full slate of action next weekend as Unity, Biggar, Macklin and Edam start things up. Find a look at the entire league schedule here.

The SWHL consists of only seven teams this year after Kerrobert joined the Cross Roads Hockey League. Find a full season preview with league president Joe Cey in the related articles below.
