This week's OSY Rentals Ball Report features the Town of Eston and their long history of baseball in the west central community. This year's winners were the U15 Ramblers, as they took home the league championship defeating teams such as Kindersley, Outlook, Unity, and Macklin along the way.

The 1975 SMBL champion Eston Ramblers played the Moose Jaw Devons in a closely contested 5 game series, winning the final game 6-0, thanks to some fantastic pitching from Mike Ongarato, who shut down the Moose Jaw attack. Ongarato had 10 Ks in the deciding victory.

Eston continued their solid play in the SMBL through the late 70s and 80s collecting league championships in 1978, 1982, 1983, and 1986. One more championship was celebrated in 1993.
