It was a jam packed weekend of play in the SWHL, with seven games in all played. This included a mid-week game between the Edam 3 Stars and Hafford Hawks on December 9.

Some notable performances this week saw Jake Taylor (.933) continuing his consistent play with three wins , and his second shutout in six starts. 

Macklins defenseman Mitch Brennan (2G-3A) led the Mohawks to two big wins with his stellar play . Brennan leads all defensemen in the league in points with 16,(7G-9A). Hafford keeper Joel Gryzbowski was bombarded with 96 shots in two games, stopping a remarkable 89 of them.

The line of Brock Harrison (5G-3A) import Ryan Keller (3G-5A) and Rory Gregoire (1G-6A) chalked up 23 points in their Sunday romp over the Unity Miners.

The Player of the Week nod went to Macklin Mohawks defenseman Mitch Brennan for his strong weekend in two wins for the defending SWHL champion Mohawks.
