They patrol our highways to ensure the safety of all motorists across Saskatchewan.
The Night Riders are the added securtiy that ensures the safety of drivers at night. They identify trouble spots, plow snow, assist RCMO, and call in the Road Report updates.
It's also part of the job description to travel in adverse weather. The Night Riders are trained for any possible condition and the vehicles are equippeed for the weather.
Kirsten Letherdale with the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure would like to remind motorists to not pass snow plows on the highways unless you are positive that it is safe.
