$2.1 million is the latest total being distributed in charitable gaming grants throughout the province. This is for the second quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal year, after grants were also announced back at the end of September.
"We're pleased to announce the latest round of charitable gaming grants, benefiting about 750 groups and organizations in more than 200 communities across Saskatchewan," Minister Responsible for LGS Laura Ross said. "These grants are paid by LGS throughout the year, supporting a wide range of charitable activities and organizations."

The total dollar amount for these local projects is approximately $48,647.02.
Nearly $394,000 was provided to groups in Saskatoon, and over $508,000 went to groups in Regina. Prince Albert and area got $219,000, Yorkton, Melville and area received $146,000, the Humboldt, Melfort area got approximately $73,000, Meadow Lake and area came in at 32,000, and then the Weyburn/Estevan region in the southeast will be receiving a total of $24,000.
