Kindersley residents, pat yourself on the back if you managed to fill up during the recent price swing taking place around west-central Saskatchewan.

$1.49/L gas was a welcome sight in Kindersley while it lasted. That was the listed price for about 24 hours from Wednesday night through Thursday, though it was right back to it's recently steadfast $1.55/L looking at Kindersley on GasBuddy.com Friday morning.

Surrounding communities were still offering the lower prices ahead of the weekend. As of Friday morning both Outlook and Rosetown were under a $1.50/L.

GasBuddy stats show that in Kindersley prices are down 2 cents as a whole from last months average, and prices heading into the winter significantly lower than last year's average of $174.9/L.

The opposite is true for diesel. Kindersley stations are selling cheaper diesel fuel at around $1.72/L, compared to Rosetown where it is approximately $1.75/L into the weekend.
