The votes are in and two fur babies have been crowned the cutest pets in the West Central region for 2023. Maggie and Merle collected 19.18% of the total votes in the Cutest Pet contest which was enough to secure the title and a quick glimpse at the duo supports the outcome.

Proud owner of Maggie and Merle, Codie Cumiskey who resides in Eatonia submitted a photo of the pups for the Cutest Pet contest which was a vote based contest to determine the winner. When the dust settled, Maggie and Merle emerged as the "top dogs" in the region. Along with the title of Cutest Pet, they were also rewarded with a one night hotel stay in North Battleford and some tasty treats.

The trio made the trek to Kindersley to join Aaron Harle on Country 104.9 to talk all about how each got their name, breed and characteristics.
