Mayor Rod Perkins made a few proclamations during the most recent town council meeting.  

Canadian Royal Purple is being recognized this week for all their hard work and dedication to bringing awareness and preventing brain injury.  

This organization raise funds for organizations, causes and individuals that have experienced or have a loved one that has experienced a brain injury. The Royal Purple also hold functions for education for prevention and more knowledge on this topic. 

The Kindersley chapter has a total of six members.

 

National public works week will be next week, focusing on the men and women that keep our towns and cities running.

These individuals are the ones that maintain, build and protect our water, public buildings and other essential facilities and programs essential to each and every one of us. 

This year marks the 64th annual National Public Works Week.
