The Unity & Area RCMP report for the period of May 11-17 included a 41-year-old Wilkie male was charged with Assault and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order after RCMP received a compliant of assault.

The RCMP also conducted two mandatory travel COVID 19 quarantine compliance checks from the Division Emergency Operations Centre in the area, and police in the Macklin area received a complaint of individuals ringing a residence doorbell and running away on two separate occasions this week but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

UNITY REPORTS

· RCMP received a noise complaint. Members issued a verbal warning to the subject of complaint.

· Police are investigating a complaint of a break and enter at a residence.

· Members acted as mediators in a family disagreement.

· RCMP received a report of a stolen truck from a field in a rural area between Macklin and Unity. This matter is still under investigation.

· There was a report of a female walking on a rural road near Tramping Lake. Members patrolled but could not locate the individual.

· Police received a report of an individual in a vehicle abandoning a dog on the highway near Unity. Members patrolled but could not locate the animal.

· RCMP are investigating a complaint of uttering threats.

· Members received a report of a gas line cut while rototilling in Denzil. Reported for information purposes.

· Police received a complaint of breach of peace. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members euthanized a deer that was located in the ditch after it was hit by a motor vehicle.

· RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

· CN Police reported a damaged railway crossing arm. Reported for information purposes.

· Police investigated a Child Welfare Act complaint. No further police action required.

· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Senlac. Reported for information purposes.

· RCMP received a request from the Division Emergency Operations Centre to conduct a mandatory travel COVID 19 quarantine compliance check on an individual in the area.

· Police received a complaint of trespassing. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.

· There were also four traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORTS

· RCMP received a report of a semi collision with a moose. There were no injuries. Members attended and euthanized the animal.

· Members assisted Wilkie Health Centre with a patient.

· Police are investigating a report of a dog attacking an individual.

· RCMP received a report of a suspicious male in a rural farmyard. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

· Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members issued a verbal warning to the subjects of complaint.

· There was a report of a steer outside the pasture fence on Highway 14 near WIlkie. Members attended and ensured the animal was secured in the pasture.

· RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle but it was unfounded.

· Police received a report of a dog running loose in Wilkie. This matter is still under investigation.

· There were also three traffic complaints and two false alarms.

MACKLIN REPORT

· RCMP conducted a mandatory travel COVID 19 quarantine compliance check on an individual in the area at the request of the Division Emergency Operations Centre.

· Police received a complaint of individuals ringing a residence doorbell and running away on two separate occasions this week but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· Members are investigating a break and enter into an abandoned rural residence.

· RCMP received a complaint of criminal harassment but it was unfounded.

· Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to move the vehicle.

· There were also five traffic complaints and one false alarm.
