The new Cross Roads Hockey League fires up this weekend with all four teams in action on Saturday. This includes the Luseland Mallards taking to the ice against Kerrobert at 7:30 pm.
Manager and President of the Mallards Darrell Kraft is excited to get senior hockey back in Luseland for the first time since 2019/20. He talked about the squad for the upcoming season.
"We are very young, and we have lots of players. It is good to see."
The other game on Saturday sees the Dodsland Stars at the West Central Events Centre versus the new Kindersley Kodiaks squad at 8:00 pm.
After this weekend's game in Kerrobert, the Mallards will open their home schedule versus the same Kerrobert Tigers on Friday, December 1 at 8:00 pm.
