Local school divisions provide updates as STF imposes work-to-rule sanctions

Indefinite province-wide sanctions begin today for members of the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation.

Each of the local Sun West, Living Sky, and Chinook School Divisions provided updates on social media ahead of their work-to-rule beginning Monday. Each school division will be seeing the full withdrawal of extracurricular and voluntary services, among other similar work-to-rule action.

With the big day coming up soon, graduation planning is one of the biggest extracurricular's being effected. Outside of that end-of-year field trips are the next biggest potential hang-up. Thankfully many trips are within school hours, but that is not the case for everyone.

Parents in each school division were directly notified shortly after last week's update. Read more below from STF President Samantha Becotte as she held a conference last Thursday.
