The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation announced their latest strike action Monday, after holding their second one-day, provincewide strike last Monday. The release stated the upcoming job action will consist of rotating full-day strikes starting Thursday, February 1.

Of the five teachers' associations included in Monday's news, the Tri-West Teachers' Association was the only one of note around west-central Saskatchewan. It shared that all Living Sky School Division schools (Kerrobert, Unity, Macklin, Wilkie, and surrounding) will be part of the rotating strikes.

Monday's release stated that, "Saskatchewan teachers are set to engage in further job action to bring the Government of Saskatchewan back to the bargaining table with a mandate to discuss learning and working conditions." The Holy Trinity Teachers' Association, Horizon Teachers' Association, Prairie South Teachers' Division, and Prince Albert and Area Teachers' Association were the other four groups included.
