With trade deadline day in the CJHL and the deadline CHL coming up a week later, a lot of trades are happening around junior hockey all over the country and one of them has taken a star forward for the Klippers back to the WHL.

Klippers assistant captain Logan Linklater's WHL rights were traded from the Prince Albert Raiders to the Regina Pats in exchange for a conditional 8th round pick in the 2023 WHL draft. Linklater played in the WHL bubble last year with the Raiders and put up 1G-4A in 22 games, and while battling a shoulder injury this season he's also managed to put up 8G-6A as a Klipper along with earning himself an assistant captain role for the Klippers after the trades of captains Mark Snarr and Jack Michell.

In either Klippers related news, it's expected that defenceman Chase Friedt-Mohr will not be returning to the Klippers this season at this moment. He was picked up by the Klippers out of the Spokane Chiefs organization, but has since been traded to the Edmonton Oil Kings, and now the Tri-City Americans. In 17 games in the WHL between Edmonton and Tri-City, Friedt-Mohr has 4G-0A, and is overall at a -2 rating.
