The Kindersley Jr. A Klippers used three games in three nights over the weekend to get their feet in the fire for the upcoming SJHL season.

A high scoring affair Friday night in Humboldt saw the Klippers lose 6-4 in the first half of a home-and-home. Three returning players scored in Tylin Hilbig, Logan Cox, and Alex Mack, and roster hopeful Carter Cole picked up the Klippers fourth marker.

Saturday night saw the Klippers get revenge with a 2-1 win at the West Central Events Centre. Logan Falk stopped 39/40 shots to secure the pre-season split against Humboldt.

The team was right back at it Sunday afternoon in the Battlefords taking on the North Stars. Despite an early 3-1 lead for the Klippers, they gave up six goals in the second on their way to an 8-4 loss.

After a short break, the Klippers and North Stars will be right back at it Wednesday night in Kindersley for the Klippers fourth and final pre-season game. Puck drop is set for 7:30 PM from the West Central Events Centre.
