Christmas is often described as the season of giving.

The Kindersley Klippers have once again teamed up with the West Central Crisis Centre to help make a child's Christmas more enjoyable.

The Christmas Hamper Program helps low-income families to help ease the financial stress of the holiday season by donating items such as toys, turkeys, ham and other holiday goodies.

The Klippers have been accepting new and unwrapped toys from Klippers fans in order to make sure no child is without a toy at Christmas time.

This coming Thursday, December 17, as the Klippers go up against the Flin Flon Bombers, patrons are encouraged to bring in a new and unwrapped gift for the cause.

Other sponsors contributing to the program are the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Salvation Army, and Dairy Queen's Angels Anonymous.
