Of note, both Matthew Pesenti and Brett Sweet were both absent from the Kimmer Cup game as they will be the starting duo for the Klippers come the regular season. Out of a total of seven goaltenders at camp, there's five that are likely ready to play at the SJHL level right now although Pesenti and Sweet were clearly the standouts.

Once the game started, Team White on the offensive with a couple of early rushes that looked like they may take control of the game early. After the first five minutes however, Team Green started to take over and they struck first. After the puck bounced around in the offensive zone thanks to a hold at the blue line from Ethan Hilbig who wouldn't end up with an assist on the play, the puck ended up on the stick of Carson Baylis in the slot. His snap shot went past Jensen's glove for the unassisted goal, and Team Green was on the board.

Team Green stayed in the drivers seat from there in a game that was not near as physical as some of the games that were played at camp prior. With just over five minutes left in the first period, Charles Obobaifo was cycling the puck and passed it Logan Linklater streaking towards the net from the corner. Linklater's shot was stopped, but it opened the cage up for Dawson Smith to pot the rebound.

After 1: Green 2 - 0 White

In the second, Team Green picked up where they left off quite quickly. Cole Brock scored on a wrist shot from the slot just three minutes in with assists going to Aiden Bangs and Ethan Mack.

After Team Green went up 3-0, the penalties started to come into the game. Mason Smith had been gaining a reputation throughout the course of camp as an agitator, and playing to that role he was the one who went first on a slashing call. Team White got a few chances on the powerplay on the rush but were never able to quite set up, and shortly after the penalty was killed, Josh Danis went to the box for Team White.

Team White killed the penalty and both teams switched goalies to Kris Johnson and Brayden Schenstead for Team Green and Team White respectively. After the goalie switch, both teams took tripping calls that overlapped for some 4-on-4 action as Matt Riplinger sat for Team Green and Ty Coady sat for Team White, but neither team was able to score.

Near the end of the period, Team Green finally put one more on the board. Noah Lindsay got the puck and carried it down the ice on a 2-on-1 with Kayde Kinaschuk, and Lindsay's feed was right in the wheelhouse for Kinaschuk to slam home the one timer.

After 2: Green 4 - 0 White

Noah Lindsay took a penalty at the end of the second period, so Team White was given a full two minute powerplay to start the third. While they didn't score, they did start to generate some momentum that carried over after the man advantage that lead to a rush where Tylan Hilbig beat the glove of Johnson, but not the post behind him just under five minutes into the period. Team Green capitalized at the other end shortly after when Aiden Bangs picked the pocket of a defender in neutral ice, skated down the left side of the offensive zone, and put a snapshot home for a big 5-0 lead with 14 minutes to go.

Team White finally bought a goal shortly after though when Mason Svarich got the puck off the faceoff at centre and nearly replicated the Team Green goal from moments ago, down the left side, snap shot under the bar and over the glove.

From there, the momentum would die as Team Green started playing defensive hockey, and a late penalty from Josh Pufahl put Team White down a man for the remaining 1:41 of the game
