Through the course of an investigation over the weekend Kindersley RCMP located several stolen bikes. Some of the bikes were returned to their owners immediately while others are still unaccounted for. If you are looking for your bike, the Kindersley RCMP are asking that you call the Detachment in hopes of reuniting the bikes with their owners.

Thanks to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the RM of Milton on Sunday, July 17th, the Kindersley RCMP arrested a suspect in possession of a stolen SUV.  "Our officers attended for a report of a male in a parked car acting out of the norm. Subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen out of Saskatoon and the driver was arrested without incident." stated Staff Sergeant Kevin Peterson. "This is a perfect example of the public being vigilant and why we encourage members of the public to call us in regards to suspicious activity," Peterson went on to say.

40-year-old Darren Rouzes of Saskatoon was charged with one count of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code and will be remanded for court in Saskatoon.

Between July 11th to July 17th, Kindersley RCMP responded to 37 calls for service.  These calls included, but were not limited to, two assault investigations, one fraud call, one breach of court conditions call and one possession of property over $5000 investigation.
