The Kindersley Museum and Tourism Centre has a lot of rope left to go with the summer still here and fall upon us, but that doesn't mean it's not a good time to start planning ahead for the winter.

They are looking for serious inquiries only, as it won't be long before it's time to light up the night with Christmas lights around all the displays.

"We know folks get busy at times and life happens, but we had a few folks promise us many workers," shared the Museum team through social media. They wont on with the show last year thinking there would be enough help. "And those workers never showed." it read as the project was still a successful venture.

Still the struggles last year are the reason for this August call-out. They are trying to decide if the show can go on, or whether this year would be a good chance to take a break.

The Museum's post assured the public that they still have the same passion for this project, but that it does 'have to be a shared project with another community organization, or just generally a community project.'

"Many of our members are physically unable to do some of the work that it takes to put something like this together. EVERYONE IS WELCOME to join us in another year of decorating."

One of the longtime helpers commented saying, "I have loved helping with decorating. It is fun to see the kids' faces when they see the lights at Christmas. The tobogganing hill is loved by the kids as well. Bringing my grandchildren and visiting with friends is the added bonus of the lights. The grandkids even had fun when it was just a drive-through", adding that things will go much faster the more people that come out.

October is the tentative start date for decorating. They hope to get busy when the weather is still acceptable, and leave odds and ends for the actual event come December.
