Football weather made its presence known this week ahead of another week of action under the lights.

2A games this week see the Kindersley Kobras welcoming in the LCBI Bisons for a game Thursday night, kickoff set for 7:00 PM. On Friday night it will be the Rosetown Royals under the lights taking on the Biggar Blazers as part of the Rosetown Harvest Family Festival. The Unity Warriors and Eatonia Spartans are also playing in a full slate for Conference 1.

The Plenty Wildcats also play Thursday looking at 1A, as the SHSAA website has them taking on Hafford on the road at 4:00 PM. After that game, on Friday the Kerrobert Rebels and Macklin Sabres will tangle in Kerrobert in a special night game for their community as well.

Hafford leads the way at 3-0 looking at the standings so far this season for 1A. Plenty and Kerrobert are 3-1 and 2-1 respectively with their only losses coming to each other. Macklin is 0-2 on the year, while Big River is idle this week with their 0-4 mark on the season. 

In 2A both Unity and Rosetown are undefeated at 3-0. Biggar has a 2-1 mark, Kindersley is 1-2, and Eatonia and LCBI are both winless at 0-3.
