It was a week full of great goaltending performances in the SWHL.

Only three games were played last week, but some stellar goaltending by Edam's Jake Taylor in losing effort was one of the many highlights. Taylor made 54 saves on 57 shots.

Other splendid netminding was seen in Unity, as rookie Brett Vanderveer made 34 saves on 37 shots in a losing effort against Highway 14 rival Macklin.

There were some great offensive performances as well, as Carson Grolla continued his strong play on the Kindersley blueline, collecting two goals and three assists in an 11-2 drubbing of the Hafford Hawks. Shayne Neigum also had a hat trick in the big win for the Sr. Klippers.

The player of the week nod went to Unity's Vaderveer for his solid performance against Macklin.
