Heavy fog in the area could affect travel conditions around the West Central region this evening.

The following was issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada.

Fog Advisory in effect for:

  • Kindersley - Rosetown - Biggar - Wilkie - Macklin

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring. Patchy fog, with near zero visibility, has developed over portions of southeastern Alberta and southwestern Saskatchewan.

The fog is expected to become more widespread overnight with areas of patchy freezing drizzle. Conditions are expected to improve late in the day on Wednesday. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
