After a week of very cold wind chills, the extreme cold warning haws finally ended for the West Central areas. Environment Canada issued the warming late last week, before taking it off on Tuesday, and reissuing it Wednesday. 

It is still very chilly Friday morning, as the windchill was -40 degrees at 8:00 am. But the high is supposed to be -19 this afternoon, and temperatures will be around normal this weekend, with highs of -13 Saturday and Sunday. The normal high for this time of year is -9, and the low is -19.
