The streets in Eston will be full of holiday and festive joy tonight during the Eston Christmas Light Parade. Upwards of 20 floats will make their way through the town, passing by numerous buildings along the designated route.

Community Economic Development Officer Kim Lane highlighted some specific details about the evening.

“We're starting at the rink parking lot and we're shortening the route this year and our main focus is Main Street, but we're going to go past Heritage Manor and the Jubilee Lodge and Heartside place so our senior living community can kind of watch from home.”

Parade goers will be meeting at the Eston AGT Community Centre at 6:15 to prepare and the parade will begin at 7 PM.

Conditions will be different from other years with mother nature treating the area to above seasonal temperatures, little snow and the mercury will drop just below zero come parade time.
