Fireworks were popping off last Friday night all around the country. In Eatonia they were held to cap off night two of their centennial event in town that saw many people returning back home to the West Central community.

The second last thing on the agenda Friday night was a baseball game just outside of where the fireworks show took place, and despite beautiful weather all weekend long, the baseball players weren't so lucky as the field took some tremendous damage thanks to a heavy pre-game shower. 

The Kindersley Cubs took an exciting game 7-5 against the local Wheat Kings on the wet and soppy diamond, and you can view some drone photos via the Eatonia Wheat Kings and their Facebook page below:
