Kindersley RCMP were kept busy the past week responding to numerous calls for a variety of reasons. Between the dates of March 7th to the 13th, Kindersley RCMP officers were called to 36 total calls for service.

Of the 36 calls, 3 included traffic collisions, 1 involved a mental health situation, 3 were for suspicious persons and 2 involved theft. Bad weather and poor road conditions were to blame for the traffic incidents.

On March 11th, RCMP received a report of a suspicious person complaint at a business in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue. When officers arrived they found a male who was discovered to have been taking material out of the yard of a local business. An investigation resulted in the male suspect being charged with possession of stolen material.
