Coming off one of their first events called Hallowicked, Justin Cole, otherwise known as Mr. Noize, was happy with how things went down, and says there are more plans in the books.

“We actually just started a company called DJM Productions and that was one of our first events. We got some of the community to come together and help us volunteer to help us put it together. And there's definitely going to be some more events coming along here right away.”

One of those events are a New Year’s Eve party, and the hopes are to add some live entertainment as well.

“We want to explore the music scene. We don't want to just do electronic music. We want to do some folk music, some local talent. We want to do some country here and there. I just want to kind of mix it up. That way we kind of cater to everyone likings around here and hopefully get a good name for ourselves,” Cole added.

Cole then gave a background on how DJM Productions got started.

“I am Mr. Noize. I am one of DJ's but also do sound production, lights and audio. Dan (Griffith) is a new DJ that I have taught recently, and Mickeala (Griffith) does all the decorations and stuff like that, and we got a lot of help from the community to help us all get it together.”

As for the turnout for Hallowicked, Cole says it was good, but if he could do it all over again, he may have done it a tad differently.

“It (the turnout) was pretty good. I think we got about 60 people throughout the whole night, but there was two other events that same night. So, if we would have planned it a little bit better, we probably would have had a little better turnout, but all in all, it was a pretty good time.”

Expect a follow up with DJM Productions as we inch closer to New Year’s Eve.
