Country Thunder will return to Saskatchewan this summer after taking a back seat for the last two years.
The festival was postponed due to the pandemic, but organizers are ready to go for next year. On Tuesday morning, the 2022 festival lineup was announced.
The Craven valley will be welcoming superstar headliners, Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton and Lee Brice.
Performers, HARDY, Lindsay Ell, Tanya Tucker, The Washboard Union, Mackenzie Porter, Bobby Wills, Kameron Marloe, and Andrew Hyatt have also been added to the bill, with more to come.
"Saskatchewan is home for us, and we needed to come with everything we’ve got,” says Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO, Troy Vollhoffer. “This is the show our fans here have asked for and waited for–and we’re going to give it to them."
“It’s time to celebrate, and there’s no better place than Saskatchewan to throw the party of 2022!”
Dates for the festival have also been announced. Chad Brownlee will kick off the festivities on Thursday, July 14th, 2022 with the final performance taking place on the evening of Sunday, July 17th, 2022.
The beer garden wrap-up at the end of the festival will feature Canada’s ultimate party band, TOQUE.
Tickets are now available with the option of four-day general admission passes, reserved seating, platinum experiences and camping.
