The Rosetown & District Civic Centre will be receiving some upgrades with work being done on the exterior parts of the building. The money being used to work on the project totals up at $85,000 as part of a grant.

Part of the new replacements include brand new window replacements, mud-jacking and brick work that is required for the building.

There are grants of $10,000 each for new playground equipment at the St. Andrews park and the Kinsmen park to help pay for a shaded area near-by the swimming pool. It will be built right on the side near the bleachers to help block the sun out during those hot summer days.

Another grant was given to the Heartland Health Region for $10,000. New equipment for the hospital is where the money is being put towards.
