A release from the Biggar RCMP last week confirmed unfortunate news relating to an overnight rollover near Perdue.
"On December 6, 2023, at approximately 1 a.m., Biggar RCMP received a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway #14, approximately one kilometre east of Perdue, SK."
An immediate response from officers led to them locating the lone occupant of the vehicle behind the wheel, a 31-year-old from Biggar who was taken to hospital and later pronounced deceased. His family was notified.
As of Friday's release, Biggar RCMP were conducting an investigation with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist. There is no other news to report at this time.
