4 deaths related to COVID-19 reported today.

After an investigation by the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory, it was discovered that there were 2,777 COVID-19 tests that weren't considered in September's case number count.

241 of those tests were positive cases and weren't considered or released to the public.

The 241 cases from September are being added to October 7th's cases numbers bringing it up to 650 positive COVID-19 cases being reported.

Along with that there are also 393 recoveries reported on October 7th.

The south-central zone has 17 of the new cases, northwest has 141, Regina has 97, Saskatoon has 82, southeast has 63, north-central has 53, central-east has 50, far northeast has 31, far northwest has 23, southwest has 19, northeast has 18, central-west has 16, and there are 40 cases with pending residence information.

348 people are hospitalized, 270 are receiving inpatient care while 78 people are being treated in the ICUs.

There are 4564 active COVID-19 cases and the 7-day average of new COVID-19 case number was 446.
