A special concert will be held at the Major Hall next month. Proceeds from the event will go towards the new West Central Crisis & Support Centre.

King & Young will be bringing their musical talents to the Major Hall on April 20. WestCentralOnline talked to Fiarra Nixon, who helped spearhead the special concert.

“I found them (King & Young) when I went to Luseland Theatre, and they played last year, and I just loved them. And I thought to myself, I'm going to have them in Major, the community needs to have that band.”

The doors open at 5:30, burgers and hot dogs available first responders are eating for free. A silent auction, door prizes and more will also be part of the fun.

Tickets for the event are available at the Major Credit Union, Bicks Drugstore and Lela's Music Centre in Kindersley.
