The following is a list detailing the calls for service for the Unity, Wilkie and Macklin RCMP for the week of October 30 to November 5, 2018.

RCMP are asking anyone with information on any of the below crimes to call the corresponding detachment or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

UNITY REPORTS

• RCMP received a complaint of fraud. There are no suspects at this time.

• Members received a request to locate a child who had not returned home when expected. The complainant later called police back to report the child had been located.

• Police received complaint of an unwanted individual at a local drinking establishment. Members attended but the subject of complaint had already left the premises.

• RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

• Members are investigating a complaint of theft of electricity.

• Police received a report of suspicious tire tracks near a business. There is no evidence of criminal activity.

• An individual spoke to a Member regarding property retrieval from a residence.

• RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the subject of complaint.

• CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction at Unity. Reported for information purposes.

• A 41-year-old Unity male was charged with Assault after RCMP received a complaint of assault.

• There was also one false alarm and one false 911 call.

 

WILKIE REPORTS

• RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

• Police received a report of an individual attempting to enter a residence but it was unfounded.

• Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a cow. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

• RCMP received a report of a female walking on Highway 29 north of Wilkie. The complainant contacted Members later to report the female had attained transportation.

• Members received a report of damage to a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

• There was also one traffic complaint.

MACKLIN REPORT

• RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. Reported for insurance purposes.
