Wrapping up last night, Telemiracle 43 took place over the weekend in Saskatoon.

The 20-hour event managed to raise over 5 million dollars this year, bringing in a total of $5,619,214.

All money raised goes toward special needs equipment and access to medical assistance for provincial residents.

The record amount raised in one Telemiracle was last year when they raised over 7 million dollars.

The 20-hour telethon has raised over $128 million dollars over the last 43 years, which is more money-per-capita than any other telethon in the world.
