For the first half of December, local communities in the West Central region will be holding sessions to drop off items to sell back into the community. The money that's made from this event is being put towards the West Central Crisis Centre to help with spending costs to make it a more advanced organization.

So far, the communities of Coleville and Rosetown have already held their sessions, and both were successful.

The town of Eston is holding their session today during the afternoon, and other communities including Marengo, Eatonia and Kindersley will be hosting theirs in the near-by future.

Gifts are priced anywhere from a value of 0.25 cents, up to six dollars at the most. They are specifically meant for children 12 years or younger to buy and use. Some children choose to donate their own gifts or money which are accepted at these drop-off locations.

The West Central Crisis Centre has been around since 1984, and has helped over 22,000 members in the surrounding community to create a better living atmosphere. Money raised from these events in the communities will be put towards specific counseling methods like family, youth and budget counseling.
