The Rosetown RCMP Detachment only had a few things to report on their weekly release.
In the early hours of September 21st, members received complaints of an erratic driver in Rosetown. Patrols were made and the vehicle was located quickly. As a result, a 20 year old man has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving While Over .08. He will make his first court appearance in Rosetown on October 25th.
A fishing tackle box was turned into the Detachment on the morning of September 26th. The tackle box had been found at the Fair View Reservoir, near Plato, on September 20th. If this tackle box belongs to you, or you know who it might belong to, contact the Rosetown RCMP at 306-882-5700.
On September 27th, at around 10:00AM, there were complaints of a strange and suspicious vehicle on Glamis Crescent in Rosetown. Members discovered the vehicle had been stolen from Saskatchewan on September 22nd. This matter is still under investigation.
Over the week of September 20th to the 27th, members of the detachment also dealt with 3 calls of assistance to general public,
1 false alarm call, 2 false 911 calls and 1 erratic driving complaints.
Members of the Rosetown Detachment and Traffic Services also issued 40 tickets.
