A short report from the Rosetown RCMP from June 12-18, involved a call of distress and a call for assistance.

In the early hours of June 16th, Rosetown RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Rosetown in regards to a man and woman screaming. Members attended and were able to separate the couple and defuse the situation without further incident. No one was injured during the incident. The matter is still being investigated.

Later on during the same day, members responded to a call for assistance by the Elrose EMS regarding a 72 year old female in medical distress on a farm in the RM of Monet. RCMP and EMS attended but were unfortunately not able to resuscitate the female.

Rosetown RCMP also responded to three 911 mis-dials, assisted in one Mental Health Act matter, responded to six false alarms, attended two animal related MVC’s, and performed one check-stop as well as issue 97 Traffic Safety Act charges.
