The Rosetown RCMP Report for the period of February 19-25, saw 10 calls to service, and 2 traffic related charges issued.

Police were busy on February 19th. First off around 9:30, Rosetown RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle on Highway 4 north of Rosetown, SK. The vehicle was towed as it was a road hazard. Fast forward to later that night, as members received a request for a mental health act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Rosetown Hospital for assessment.

Just a short time after that same night, Rosetown RCMP received a report of an unwanted individual at a residence in Harris, SK. Members attended and arrested a 34 year old female from Regina with
Assault on a Police Officer, Resist/Obstruct Peace Officer and Mischief.

At around 5 pm on February 20th, Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute.

The next night out, RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 4 near Elrose, SK. There were no injuries and the matter is still under investigation.

Police would respond to two calls on the 22nd, first receiving word of a vehicle collision with a deer that was reported for insurance reasons. Shortly after, members responded to a report of a business alarm. It was deemed a false alarm shortly after arrival.

Rosetown RCMP were idle on the 23rd, but responded to two calls the next morning. Rosetown RCMP received a report of articles in the ditch near Zealandia, SK. Members spoke to the complainant and nothing further was required. Soon after, Rosetown RCMP received a report of fraud. The matter is still under investigation.

Finally on the morning of February 25th, Rosetown RCMP received a traffic complaint on Highway 44, and that matter is still under investigation.
