The brand new swimming pool facility is still being built in Outlook. It's going to be right beside the Jim Kook Rec Plex, making both facilities easily accessible from one another.

Progress on construction has been up to date, and plans to stay on schedule as the months continue to go by. Just three months ago, work started on the new swimming pool with sewer lines and some water being put in the right places. The next step to building the pool will be making sure all of the mechanical aspects are taken care of.

The Outlook Pool Fundraising Committee could not be more happy with all of the support they have been given from members of the community. Over $1,225,000 has been raised up to date, thanks to large donars and the support of families coming together in a needed time.

It's been determined that the pool will cost $1.8 million overall, which means that a little over $500,000 still needs to be raised in order to pay off the entire pool.

Everyone in the town is feeling optimistic that the remaining funds will eventually be raised. All of the people in Outlook have been wanting a new swimming pool for quite some time, and are willing to make it happen.
