The Delisle Chiefs announced three signings last week. The first signing provided some local flare in a goalie, and two other forwards officially signed on in the following days to complete their week of transactions.

First off on Wednesday the team would sign Fiske, SK born goaltender (‘03) Noah Martens. The 6’2, 175 lbs Martens played this shortened season with the Swift Current Legionnaires AAA program. Read more about the local signing here.

The Chiefs would get back to business the next day with a forward signing, (‘03) Luke Stadnyk of Humboldt, SK. Stadynk comes in from the Humboldt Broncos U18 AA program where he had 45 points in 40 games, and he has 2 points in 2 games in prior experience with the Chiefs as an AP. Stadynk is from Humboldt, and the 6’0, 185 lbs forward looks to continuing his scoring ways in Delisle.

The last signing of the week was certainly the biggest; on paper at least. (‘03) forward Jesse Swanson is bringing his 6’7 frame to the Chiefs after spending time with the Ontario Hockey Academy Mavericks. His 225 lbs body helped him collect 23 points in 24 AAA games, and the team is excited to announce the addition of the hulking forward.
