Kindersley Minor Hockey doesn't just include skates, sticks and pucks. Kindersley sledge hockey is ready to hit the ice later on this month as there was a registration on September 25. Games are slated to start October 20 at 5pm at the Co-op Arena. More action is slated for October 27 at 5 pm as well. Sixteen people are registered so far, with 10 juniors and 6 intermediates with 4 others likely to join as well, with the numbers being pretty close to same as they were last year according to Tracy Lyons, who headed up the registration once again this year.  Practices are held every Sunday at the Co-op Arena except instances where there are no school on Fridays or Mondays.

A 12 team tournament is set to take place in Kindersley with both arenas being set to be used on November 22-24. Older players are expected to come from all over the province including Regina and Saskatoon. Tournaments are being held in Regina February 7-9 and the Westerns Tournament in Calgary March 29-31 2020 concludes the season for the sledge hockey players.
