Dakota Buttar had a successful weekend with the bulls this past weekend. The Kindersley bull rider participated at the 25th PBR: Unleash The Beast’s Ariat Invitational.

Buttar's first score for the tournament was recorded as 87.75, which also earned him 60 world points. With that, he rose one spot in the world standings to 15th, and advanced to the second round of the weekend.

He continued his winning ways, to lead the event with 84.25 score.

Buttar split the top spot on the leader board with Brazilian bull rider, Kaique Pacheco, heading into the championship round.

He marked a career high 90.5 points in the final round, to earn a final total score of 262.5 points. He came just shy behind 1st place Kaique Pacheco, who had an aggregate score of 263 points.

Buttar also earned 360 world points through the tournament, boosting him from number 16 to 13 in the world standings.

This stop of the 25th PBR: Unleash The Beast tournament took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their next event will be in Greensboro, North Carolina.
