The Winter Wonderland display is once again back up at the Outlook and District Regional Park just in time for the holiday season. Things get underway with a special walk thru which begins tonight. Administrator for the Outlook and District Regional Park Kaitlyn Gifford explains.

"You can drive through and then park a little closer. And then you can just take a walking tour, lots of people like to do that, just to take a little more time. And it's nice out so, that is a total bonus."

The Regional Park is located on the west side of Progress Avenue and will be open 6:00 to 9:00 pm each night (walk thru as well), including the drive thru portion which will run from December 14 to 23. A special guest will be at the opening of the display tonight as well, as Gifford explains.

"Santa is going to be on-site too and hot chocolate will be sale as well."

Like in previous years it will be admission by donation, with the proceeds going towards the Regional Park. Gifford also thanked everyone who made this year's Winter Wonderland possible and said about 35 businesses and groups decorated this year, which was awesome.

This is the 4th annual event, after starting in December of 2020 to get people's spirits up during the pandemic.
