Released in February of 2017 "Body Like a Back Road" spent a record breaking 34 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot Country charts (a record previously held by Florida Georgia Lines "Cruise").  The song was also Hunt's first top ten hit on the US Hot 100 Chart.

The Brothers Osbourne - It Ain't My Fault

Released in January of 2017 this song was a summer anthem across Canada and the United States.  The song was co-written by John & T.J Osbourne, Kennedy Kelley and Lee Thomas Millar and is about a guy who "doggedly, humorously refuses to own up to his own actions".  The music video for the song features a pawn shop robbery (Ain't My Fault is featured on their album Pawn Shop) with a bit of a tribute to the 1991 movie "Point Break"

2017 brought us some great tracks in country music.  We saw new music from favorites like Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban.  Big debut's from artists like Carly Pearce and Kane Brown also took 2017 by storm.  This year's semi-finalists were chosen by the Country 104 staff from some of the biggest songs released in 2017.  The people of West Central Saskatchewan voted and the top 2 were featured in the final showdown on Friday morning!
