U13

The U13 AA West Central Wheat Kings were idle this past weekend. The team has two games left to go in their regular season as they will play Tisdale this Sunday at 11:45 am from the West Central Events Centre in Kindersley. The postponed game from January 31 due to the blizzard which ripped through the province will have to made up before the regular season ends as well.

West Central has a 8-13-1 record, which is fifth in the Centre Four Division. All seven teams from the division make the playoffs, with the first place team getting a bye and the other six teams playing off in a best of three series.

U15 

The U15 AA West Central Wheat Kings had a pair of home games this past weekend. Game one was in Kindersley on Friday and thanks to hat trick from Cam Perlinger, and two assists, the team won 7-4 over the Humboldt AA Broncos. Cobe Perlinger also had five points, with two goals and three assists. Daxton Endicott had two goals and an assist in the victory as well. 

Game two was Saturday night in Eston. In an high scoring affair that saw West Central fall behind 4-0 after one, the team battled back with five goals in the second period, but the North East Wolfpack scored two, to carry a slim one goal lead into the final period. North East scored another four goals in the third, to West Central's two, to make the final score 10-7 for the Wolfpack. Leading the way for the Wheat Kings in the defeat was Cobe Perlinger with four goals and three assists. Cam Perlinger had a goal and three assists, and Chase Weinkauf had one goal and two assists. 

Next action for the U15 AA West Central Wheat Kings is this Saturday on the road in Humboldt against the AA Broncos. Game time is 2:30 pm. The team will then play host to the Regina Aces on Sunday at the West Central Events Centre in Kindersley. Game time is 2:15 pm.

Cobe Perlinger leads the team with 26 goals and 33 assists for 59 points in 22 games played. Cam Perlinger is right behind with 28 goals and 29 assists for 57 points in 22 games played. Austin Schafer rounds out the top three with 7 goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 22 games played.

West Central holds a 10-8-4 record heading into play this weekend, which is tenth in the Centre Four Division. The top eight teams in the division make the playoffs.

U18

The West Central U18 AA Wheat Kings were also idle this past weekend due to Sask First camps being held across the province. The team has a pair of games this weekend. Game one is Saturday night in Kerrobert against the Saskatoon Icehawks at 4:30 pm. This is the final home game of the regular season for the club. Game two will be in North Battleford against the North West Stars at 3:00 pm Sunday. West Central will wrap up their season against the same North West Stars on February 19 at 4:30 pm in North Battleford once again.

Hunter Sperle continues to lead the team in scoring with 24 goals and 19 assists for 43 points in 29 games played. Right behind Sperle is Austin Shepherd with 17 goals and 23 assists for 40 points in 27 games played. And in third is Landyn Nash with 20 goals and 16 assists for 36 points in 29 games played.

The U18 AA West Central Wheat Kings have a 15-13-2 record heading into play this weekend, which is fifth in the Centre Four Division. The top eight teams qualify for playoffs from the Centre Four Division. All series are best of three.
