Everyone waking up for school or work on Monday morning were treated to the beginnings of a winter storm. News on power outages, business closures, and even damage caused by the intense weather seemed to roll in all morning.

It wasn’t uncommon to see a light post getting tossed around in the wind. Many buildings signage likely left the storm worse for wear. Tim Hortons had their sign ripped right out. The restaurant took necessary action in cleaning up the remains of the sign, and made the decision to close at noon because of the situation and conditions.

Montanas was another restaurant, that just decided to close their doors.

Even the Kindersley Clinic decided to forgo their services for the day.

The damage wasn’t just limited to Kindersley, as these gas pumps in Eston and Biggar have seen better days.
