The residents are the group home of West Central Abilities in Kindersley have been very busy of the past few weeks bringing in an astounding amount of containers to the Sarcan Facility in Kindersley.
Colette Pelletier from West Central Abilities said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of the residents from the west central town, and said people were still calling after the bottle drive was completed.
"People were very generous, for about the next week we had calls from people who were out of town, and set them out for us to come pick them up or they dropped them off at Sarcan themselves," Pelletier said.
Over 4 days of drop offs, 41,846 containers were recycled at Sarcan in Kindersley, and a total of $5009.20 was raised for the West Central Abilities new location on 1st avenue west in Kindersley.
Pelletier also mentioned they are having more fundraisers for the new location, including an auction in October.
