It was a busy weekend for AA hockey in the west central region as all three West Central teams were in action.

U13 AA

The U13 team had one game on Sunday and came out on top 7-4 over the Warman WIldcats.

Leading the way for the U13 Wheat Kings was Graden Neumeier with 1 goal and 2 assists and Cruz Loehendorf with 2 goals. Taylor Neumeier and Max Douglas also had a goal and an assist in the victory.

Next action for the U13 AA What Kings is a a home game in Eston this Saturday at 2:00 pm against Melfort, and then they host another home game Sunday, this time in Dodsland against Humboldt at noon.

The Wheat Kings sit with a 3-2-1 record heading into play this weekend.

U15 AA

As for the U15 AA Wheat Kings they played one game this past Sunday, and fell 6-2 to the visiting Saskatoon Generals. 

Cam Perlinger got two goals and both Keegan Nash and Cobe Perlinger collected two assists in the loss.

The U15 AA Wheat Kings hit the road for a couple of games this weekend, starting in Moose Jaw at 2:45 pm Saturday, before heading to Regina Sunday to play the Pat Blues at 7:45 pm.

The Wheat Kings have a 3-2-2 record heading into play this weekend.

U18 AA

And the U18 AA Wheat Kings played one game on the weekend, and lost 6-4 to the Northwest Stars in Unity.

Leighton Parrington got 2 goals for the Wheat Kings, and Hunter Sperle collected a goal and an assist in the defeat.

The U18 AA Wheat Kings head right back to the ice this evening, as they head to Sasktoon to take on the Sabercats at  7:15 pm.

The Wheat Kings sit with a 5-5-2 record heading into play this evening.
